SHIPPING

At KARAAT, we strive to deliver your orders promptly and efficiently. Please note that delivery times vary depending on the type of item ordered. You can find specific delivery times on each product's page, or feel free to contact us for clarification.

Shipping Times

  • Nordics: 2-5 business days
  • Europe: 2-5 business days

Shipping Details

  • Free shipping is available for all orders.
  • Orders placed Monday to Friday before 11:00 AM CET will be shipped by the following business day. Orders placed on weekends will be dispatched the following Monday.
  • All orders ship from Finland using DHL Express.

Once your package leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a notification confirming your parcel is on its way.

Order Tracking

All parcels are trackable via DHL’s tracking systems. After dispatch, you’ll receive a tracking number via SMS or email to monitor your shipment’s status.

If you don’t receive a tracking number or have questions about your shipment, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

HANDLING DUTIES AND TAXES FOR ORDERS OUTSIDE THE EU

For orders shipped outside the EU, local import duties and taxes may apply depending on the destination country.

For shipments to Norway and Switzerland, KARAAT covers all duties and import taxes — there will be no additional charges upon delivery.

For all other non-EU countries, any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the customer.

INSURANCE

We insure each parcel from the time it enters transit until it is delivered to you, or until you picked it up at your nearest postal service point. All orders require a signature or ID check upon delivery, at which point you become responsible for the shipment. If you have specified a recipient other than yourself for the delivery, you also accept that the third party’s signature is sufficient proof of delivery and fulfillment by us.

 

ALTERNATIVE SHIPPING ADDRESS

During checkout, it is possible to specify an alternative shipping address. If you choose to pay with Klarna Invoice you need to state your registered address as the shipping address.

 

ADD/CHANGE SHIPMENT INFORMATION

Should you need to change the recipient name or shipping address on the parcel, please us. Please note that there may be additional costs included.

 

UNCLAIMED PARCELS

Upon delivery, please make sure to collect your parcel within the time informed by the local delivery services. In case the parcel is not collected within the informed time, the parcel will be returned back to us. For all unclaimed parcels you will be charged 50 EUR for all fees in connection with the returned delivery and handling costs. The fee will be deducted from the returned order refund or be invoiced afterward.

Made-to-order items with special shipping policy:

All made-to-order items start production when we have received payment from the customer. Above mentioned shipping times will vary and will be communicated to the customer. With any questions, please contact us.
